Each team is playing in a group of 4 and has a minimum of 3 games guaranteed within the group.
After the 2. round there is a special contest, where you can win a special price.
Due to time restrictions, all games on Saturday last 6 ends/skins. All games on Sunday last for 8 ends/skins.
- As a basic principle, the SWISSCurling rules apply.
- A skin is won if...
a) ...the team with the hammer scores at least two points.
b) ...the team without the hammer steals one point or more.
- If none of the two conditions above are met, the skin is carried over and added to the value of the next skin.
- The hammer changes after every end, irrespective of who has won the end. A coin flip will determine the hammer in the first end. The winner decides who is going to play the first stone.
- If the last skin of a game is not won by any team, a draw to the bottom is played and the winner receives the remaining cash amount.
- The team with the higher cash amount wins the game.
- In the preliminary round on Saturday a game can end in a draw.
- The ranking in the preliminary round is determined based on the sum of the cash amount won. If two or more teams won the same amount, the ranking is determined by the direct match-ups between the tied teams. As last criterion, a draw to the bottom is played after the last game of the preliminary round (only for concerned teams).
Draw to the bottom: Any player of the team plays one stone as close as possible to the dolly. Sweeping and eventually skipping on the part of the playing team is allowed. The team playing closest to the centre wins. The distance is measured by the organisation committee. If both stones cover the centre, the draw to the bottom is repeated until there is a measurable distance between the two stones.
